SommeTasty Tool is that canvas, built by people who understand why a tannin curve matters as much as a tasting note.

SommeTasty Tool was built on a simple principle: a professional tool for tasting, pairing, and analysis should never require surrendering your data. This policy explains, in full, what we do — and more importantly, what we deliberately do not do.

Information We Collect
We collect nothing. SommeTasty Tool does not request, capture, or transmit any personal information, tasting data, device identifiers, location data, or usage statistics. There are no sign-up forms, no accounts, and no hidden telemetry pings.

How We Use Information
Because no information is ever collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. There is no dataset of your tasting profiles or pairing history sitting on a server anywhere — it simply doesn't exist.

Data Storage
Every tasting map, pairing calculation, and wine list breakdown you create is stored exclusively in local storage on your own device. Nothing is synced, backed up, or mirrored to any cloud service or remote database controlled by us.

Third-Party Services
SommeTasty Tool contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no external tracking scripts of any kind. The app functions entirely on-device and has no need to communicate with outside servers.

Because your tasting and pairing data never leaves your device, it is never exposed in transit or intercepted from a remote server. Security here is structural: nothing to breach, nothing in transit, nothing stored elsewhere.

Children's Privacy
SommeTasty Tool is designed for adult wine professionals and enthusiasts and is not directed at children. As we collect no data from any user, regardless of age, no personal information is ever gathered from children in compliance with COPPA.

Your Control
There are no accounts to manage and no cloud records to request deletion of. All content lives locally, so uninstalling the app permanently and completely removes every trace of your tasting maps, pairing notes, and wine list analyses.

Changes to This Policy
Should our practices ever change, this policy will be updated within the app and the Effective Date above will be revised accordingly. We do not anticipate this, as offline-only operation is core to how SommeTasty Tool is designed.
